Mains Charging Systems

One of the biggest benefits of using AgriWheel is that you do not require an expensive electrician to get you mains power to the gate.
If you have chosen to charge your AgriWheel using a transformer, all you need to do is plug a transformer into a 13-amp socket. This socket may be next to the gate in a weather proof container, or in a shed or garage 100 metres away.
Simply lay a suitable cable to the gate from this convenient wall socket (as the cable is only carrying safe 12v DC you can choose to tack this on a fence) lay it in a hedge or dig it in: it is up to you.
We do however, advise to use armoured cables for long runs. This will prevent animals chewing through and breaking the connections.
This charger will constantly trickle charge the battery, but in the event of a power cut, your AgriWheel will still happily work.
